The Netherlands and Ecuador will both be intent on securing second wins when they launch second round of group stage action at the 2022 FIFA World Cup with a showdown in Group E.

Ecuador enjoyed a comprehensive 2-0 victory over underwhelming hosts Qatar in the first game of the tournaments, and the Netherlands followed suit with a late win by the same scoreline over Senegal the following day.

In-form striker Enner Valencia headed straight to the top of the scoring charts by bagging both of Ecuador’s goals, while Cody Gakpo and Davy Klaassen hit the net for Oranje.

Here’s how you can watch all the action in the major global territories.

The match will take place at 7 p.m. local time and take place at the Khalifa International Stadium in Doha, which was opened in 1976 and has a capacity of almost 46,000.

Netherlands vs. Ecuador lineups
Prior to the opening match, Netherlands boss Louis van Gaal stated that Memphis Depay would miss the game due to injury – only for the striker to enter the fray from the bench.

It’s possible that Depay could be available to start this game, but it’s now hard to trust what van Gaal says.

Netherlands projected lineup (3-5-2, right to left): 23. Noppert (GK) — 3. De Ligt, 4. Van Dijk, 5. Ake — 22. Dumfries, 11. Berghuis, 21. De Jong, 17. Blind — 8. Gakpo — 18. Janssen, 7. Bergwijn

Ecuador saw talisman Valencia come off with a knee injury in the 77th minute after making his mark in the opener – a huge concern considering how prolific he is. The only other injury depriving La Tri is that of 25-year-old winger Joao Rojas, who is not at the tournament due to a torn ACL.

Ecuador projected lineup (4-4-2, right to left): 22. Galindez (GK) — 17. A. Preciado, 3. Hincapie, 2. Torres, 7. Estupinan — 19. Plata, 20. Mendez, 23.Caicedo, 10.Ibarra — 13. Valencia, 11. Estrada

Netherlands vs. Ecuador odds
Netherlands are favourites despite not looking entirely convincing in their opener against Senegal. Still, their attacking firepower makes the Dutch dangerous, and Ecuador could be without their main marksman in this match.

It’s the question marks around Enner Valencia that are tipping the scales here towards fewer goals, with the under and both teams not to score featuring tilted odds.
